BECOME A VOLUNTEER…
The affairs of the Park Ridge Historical Society are administered entirely by volunteers who share their time and talent in our mission of promoting and maintaining interest in local history through educational, charitable and information services.  We all celebrate the good story of Park Ridge history.

The Society, founded in 1971, is in a period of transition as we now pass the responsibility for continuing our program to a new generation of residents.

Please take a moment to consider a volunteer job with the Society.  The following areas are where we most need to add to our volunteer teams:

      s Museum hosts

      s Museum arrangements and maintenance

s Special events set-up and staffing

Just a few hours every month can make a significant positive contribution to our collective efforts in maintaining Society operations.  If you savor local history, the rewards are great and this is the place to be!

If you are interested or want more information, please telephone (847.696.1973) or email (george@pennyville.org) the Society.  Our offices are at the corner of Garden and Prairie.

In addition to the museum, the group also sponsors various events including the popular Maine Cemetery tours each October.  New members are very welcome and always needed to ensure the continuation of these programs.
