Albert Buchheit Day, May 24

We celebrated the memory of our first mayor, dentist Albert Buchheit, elected 100 years ago to the day.  Visitors to Hodges Park enjoyed a ‘view of history’ tour, including a walk by Dr. Buchheit’s home and office building, poster-sized images of Dr. Buchheit’s life and times, and historical displays in City Hall.
